Sadly, the general message from the membership on "residual sums owed" is that it is a lost cause! Solicitors' letters, small claims court, etc. are often not successful and cause even more charity expenditure. Some members have proposed a "deposit" being placed with the trust in like manner to landlords in the private sector - but this would be unlawful in charity law. A constant close watch on WMC payments is the only answer.
